Need God? What if I Don’t?

Need God? What if I don't? Ravi Zacharias It was an interesting conversation to say the least – a friend concerned about offending others while voicing agreement to the idea of being hostile toward religion.

As a Christian myself I find myself oddly understanding, yet at the same time almost put off, but not for the reasons that most people would think…

It wasn’t his hostility toward religion. I myself, like Jesus had a problem with the religion of the day (Pharisees and Sadducees) so it’s nothing exactly new. It was his perception that people who believe in God lack intelligence, and that those ideas are passed on to the next generation.

Looking at the world’s economies and the shambles, I wondered to myself, what’s the alternative? What do you replace God with? What does the world have to offer that compares to the hope and joy and peace people get out of faith?

I had a very long answer when I replied and it ultimately went unanswered.
