Now THIS is cool. Scouting the Music and Entertainment news and talk this morning, (don’t asked me how I missed this yesterday), but Whitney Houston’s mother will perform a tribute at the upcoming BET Awards!

This is something I would like to see and have marked my calendar already to see Cissy and a few other divas (don’t ask who they are, I don’t know) do their thing, but apparently it’s not been officially announced yet.
So while we’re talking about the BET Awards, top nominees are Kanye West, Beyonce and Jay-Z, and will air live from The Shrine Auditorium in La-La Land (that’s Los Angeles btw).
